Looking for any suggestions on a new cage!

I am making a new cage for my chameleon and I want it to the best for him. Anything that yall have found to be useful or cool for your chams I can implement in his new home, any advice is helpful too. The new cage will be 32 inches wide 16 deep and about 2 feet tall. That is the old cage in the image.
Thank You! 💖

I love umbrella plants and a bromeliad gives a pinch of color when flowering. I love your cane plant at the bottom though. Other than that just lots of sticks lol. Gosh chams live a boring life but we get so much amusement just watching them. 😂

I put a spider plant in the upper half of my enclosure and my chameleon has taken a real shining to it. I often see him amongst the leaves, hiding, or basking from its top. Maybe your chameleon will like it as much as mine lol
I've also been enjoying putting fake plants on the outside of the enclosure too. Maybe that's a fun idea for you?

Hey there. You will want to adjust the size of the cage your setting up. An adult needs a 4 foot tall enclosure. 32 wide is great but the 16 inches deep is too shallow. Take it out to 24 or no less than 20 deep if you keep the width.

Keep in mind fixture lengths... Might consider taking it to a 36 wide. Then you can purchase 36 inch fixtures that will run the width. Otherwise your looking at 24 inch and that would not cover the full width for the T5 which is recommended. If you see fixtures that are 30 inch that is only the fixture those have 24 inch bulbs so you end up with the same issue.

Check out this husbandry program. It will walk you through cage set up as well. https://chameleonacademy.com/chameleon-husbandry-program-getting-started-with-chameleons/
