I haven't been around for a while, but I'm looking for a pair of Mnt Meru Jacksons. Any leads would be nice.

Currently, the only known (by me) breeding group outside of Tanzania is in Belgium. The chances of Tanzania reopening for export are unpredictable, but those of us watching it are not holding our breath. Most likely, you have a lot of time to put all the cage and stuff together before they find their way back to our shores.
There is a quiet merumontanus fan club that is keeping in close contact with the European connection (Jurgen) and we'll work on details if the opportunity arises to bring a shipment over.
There have been a number of Jacksonii jacksonii sold as merumontanus lately (for reasons unknown - they weren't charging meru prices), but that won't work for you because you know the difference. So your knowledge is working against your happiness. That is what you get for knowing stuff.

There is talk of Tanzania opening up in 2022 or 2023. However that's all hearsay and people have been rummaging that since they closed so who knows, lol

I've always kept an eye out for these. Never find any. Keep me in mind if there is a chance to go in on a group purchase. I'm looking for a pair or a trio. I'm always set up for a chameleon, no prep time needed. I'm so set up for a random chameleon that Bill's chameleons petition to leave his home and move in over here.
Yeah, they do. But I tell them there will be no spa days for them. They are Instagram models for the rest of their lives!!
