Ha!!!! Seb,, David is saying " you have much to learn grasshopper"!!!

thanks David... mostly crickets, with an occasional superworm. when we got him he didn't eat to well, so when he started picking up we just went with it. but im thinking we need to cut back some now.... ;) he weighs 259 grams and not even 2 yet.... :0

Lisa,he looks fantastuic!!! So does the salt tank behind him,is that the new one ? Still think you need to breed him,he's a stud

Thanks Steve,,, nah, that's a 92 gallon corner tank. The new one is a 150 gallon, still dealing with new tank issues with it but all transfers went well, we didn't loose anything!
As far as the breeding goes,,,, I think it's a go! ;)

Thank Seb.... I'm trying to get him socialized more, so I get him out of his cage when I can.

Thank camimom! When he fires up he's incredible!

Yes Masters, I am still in the process of learning!! My apologies :p
But Lisa, he is gorgeous!! I can't wait to set up a free range area for Reptar. I just want to gain his trust first and let him grow a little more.

Im sorry but I cant sit and read all these posts of people thinking its cute to have an overweight chameleon. There are so many on this forum that are overweight and it irritates me to read all the posts saying they look great and are cute little fatties. When a newbie comes on here trying to get an idea of what a healthy chameleon looks like is really going to get the wrong idea with posts and threads like these.

Sorry if I offend anyone but a big reason I participate on the forum is to help others successfully raise healthy chameleons.

You are right and true. this has been acknowledged by op and cutting down food is the plan. Overfeeding is a big problem and i agree it should be mentioned to help any new people looking.
