Just wanted to share what I found today. Clutch hatched 2 weeks ago but more concerned with feeding, watering, and other husbandry stuff and totally missed the extra stuff.
pic 1 is today. No that is not a GIANT finger, just a tiny
pic 2 is of female hatched 7 months ago.

Can you post more photos please??
All from the same female?
What are you incubating the eggs in? What's the heat source? Is there any pattern regarding where their eggs were in the incubator?

Am I seeing what I think I’m seeing? Are those unfused chameleon toes? 😮

Wow

Lucky he was at the top.. Hard to find him when he is in the mix of things..
I will send info on incubation via "conversation" tomorrow..

Very complicated due to lack of knowledge on my part.

Gotta wonder what weird genetics are going on here. I do not think I would breed these parents moving forward. No telling what else could be off.

100% agreed. But I do have to say-- I have seen others with feet/toe/leg issues over the [past 20 plus years. Not mine and a current panther breeder who has tail and feet issues, they just doesn't share the info - I wonder if they are culled and know at least 1 breeder does (not the panther breeder mentioned earlier) and this was 15 years ago here in CA-
I just like to share and get the truth out there. If you really think about it-- Many have 1 or 2 chameleons their whole life (few) and how many siblings from that 1 or 2? A LOT!!!!!

Thanks for the concern but hope your enjoying the picture show. (y)

Glad I don't have your address or you would have a surprise package in the mail.:ROFLMAO:(y)

It probably isn’t that odd, and I don’t think it is breeding. Cats have 6 toes sometimes, snakes are born kinked. These are not necessarily passed genetically. Some times things go weird.
Kind funky though, cask looks like it might have something too.

I looked at the casque and it does look odd at 40X but he is in the process of shedding so will have to check him out at a later time.
Just some old and current pics of casque progress. Even thought it is a weird food thread.

Pic 1 is day he had been discovered at a few weeks old. Pic 2 and 3 are others with him growing at different paces. Pic 4 and 5 are outside since they and a few others are growing much faster but same age.
Pic 6 - 7 - 8- Saul ---8 month and his bro and sis.
