lol chameleon handling?

i hold my hand out to my cham and all she does is stick her tongue out at me LOL anybody have any good tricks to start handling her? she’s like 4-5 months old

Maybe try feeding her by hand or getting her out on a stick.
Is she sticking her tongue out at your finger nails? Do you hand feed her?

All I get is gaping & hissing (which is OK with me; I didn't get it for handling per se), but I would like it not to be afraid of my hand(s) when I have to go in to put food in the cup or conduct minor maintenance.

I recently had reason to get mine on a stick, and that worked out better than I expected, so I agree that may be a good segue to hand taming.

When I put in a stick for getting her out, then she goes 200% on fire! Needs to be my hand, otherwise no-go unfortunately.

i hold her bowl on my hand and she eats from the bowl, and sometimes i out a long sleeve on and put a worm on my sleeve and she’ll eat like that (don’t wanna touch the worm ) she sticks it out at my fingers not my nail, and i also washed my hand before!
