Locust

Hi, I'm kinda new to this so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right :/
Just a quick question... Are small locust ok to feed my 3 month old veiled? I haven't heard anything about feeding locust to chameleons so I thought I'd check.
A reply would be greatly appreciated as then I know I have done this right :/
Thanks :)

I feed locust regularly to my Cham and little ones to the geckos. I like to break or pull the hoppy legs off because they have sharp barbs on them. Locusts are a good feeder, good calcium to phosphorus ratio :)

Welcome to the forum. Yes small ones are fine. You can feed small crickets too. Variety is good. A general guide is feeders no bigger than the space between his eyes. :)

Brilliant! Thanks for the replays and the welcoming to the forum :) I have never kept chameleons before so when I get another question il be posing again :)
Thanks again!

I have never thought about locusts. Without any mantis ooths available around here, maybe the locusts that cover the area are more readily available. Thanks for the idea
