I ran across LLLreptile at the cow palace reptile convention. Their staff is very knowledgeable as well as patient. I bought a female veiled from them and it is as healthy as can be. I would recommending getting all your supplies from them. It is the cheapest supplier IMO

Their chameleons are essentially breeder overflow. There is a good chance that the animal will be the same animal you'd get from a "name" breeder on here, but you won't have any documentation to that effect, and you won't know exactly what it is you have until it grows up really. It's also up to their i'm sure well meaning but not always expertly trained staff to sex the animal..

Which is a long way of saying that I'm sure whatever you get from them will be worth the price you paid for it, and probably make a good pet.

i bought a nosey be panther from them this saturday actually and well they were a little bit young (chameleons) so it was a little hard to sex them but when i asked one of the guys that worked their they were also unsure. so i went with the only one that was showing some stripes and coloring. for him being "2 months" it showed some blueish when they put him in his container for me to take home, so im pretty sure its a male (fingers crossed):D

here he is. sorrry for the poor pic.

Chequepoint is almost entirely correct.

It's hard to get an accurate sex when the animal is only 2-2.5 months old. They tend to turn them around quick.

I know this because I have 3 from LLL. They all are extremly healthy and robust. Knowing the bloodline was not a huge concern for me, so I didn't mind. I would buy from them again.

i definitely understand that it is hard to sex them at so young an age. but i probably take the half hour drive down there again because they do have some really good prices and alot of other species. maybe next time ill come home with an emerald tree boa. thats if i talk my girl friend into it. she cant stand snakes.:D

A side view picture with the tail extended would help to sex it. 2.5 months is around that time when it gets harder to tell than one younger or older than that.
