LLLReptile Aluminum Cage - Drainage Question

Ok, so if you've read HELP...Canadians you know my plight. Anyway not to bore you with background I've ordered a 2x2x4 Aluminum Cage from lllreptile for Gonzales.

My question is, what's the best way of dealing with drainage with these cages. Having never seen one physically I'd like to know what others do. Pictures would be really appreciated.

Thanks :)

I drilled 3/4 holes in a star pattern in the middle of the base. I then hot glued a piece of regular window grade screen to keep prey items from escaping, and then hot glued a cheap-o funnel over the screen. My cage is on a 15 in platform with a hole cut out in the center to make room for the funnel, and it drains right to a bucket on the floor. Really cheap, really easy, and most important, very safe. Hope this helps.

I use a small drill bit and drill a bunch of holes in a circle pattern right in the center if the bottom. Underneath, I put a bowl or tupperware to catch the water. Works great for me.

My cheap-o/quick fix for water control, was to put a clear plastic plant 'dish' you can get at Home Depot for less then a buck, under my plant. My guys sit on a solid surfice at this time so the funnel idea won't work but I like it.
