Has anyone seen the female Ambanja that is about to burst with her clutch?? I was in there this am and was amazed!! Showing so much purple!! I saw the male that is the sire before they sold him and have to say that the babies are going to be screamers!! Trying to talk the Mrs. into letting me pick her up.

How long has she been there? I think I saw a very pretty female about a month ago when I went in to pick up a few supplies. Don't know if she's the same one.

Lol! No, she was by herself. I think she is the same one... Wait, it was about 3 weeks ago. I've had Hugh for about 2 weeks and this was a few days before I picked Hugh up. So about 2 weeks and a half maybe... It seems like it was a long time ago.

Lol! No, i'm just going to wait until I can go get one at LLL. The one I have in there is starting to sprout lots of new leaves so i'm looking forward to it getting as bushy as it was when I first brought it home. I had to trim most of it down to fit into a 12x12x28 cage. Hugh is doing just fine is his new 24x24x48 cage with his one ficus, vines, and fake foliage.

Cool. I was going to say, they've done that in the past for gravid girls. One time I was at the Oceanside store and a female was dropping eggs and I called one of the guys over... they put her into a bin of dirt to dig. She hit the dirt digging

All the LLL staff, but one, are super cool and good about taking proper care of there chams.

Gabbie did you get my PM about the ficus hookup up here?? Is Hugh hunting down his snacks ok in his big boy cage?

Right now i'm feeding Hugh Butterworms and Reptiworms so i'm cup feeding those, he ate 8 Reptiworms this morning(when I feed him both at a time he eats the Butterworm and ignores the Reptiworms). I haven't tried Crickets in his big boy cage yet so I don't know if he'll be a good little hunter in it. He's shedding right now and is hanging out away from his basking bulb and in some fake foliage. He also seems to be more tolerant of misting also I spritz the water in the air and let it fall on him and he just sits there and blinks his eyes. I only observed him drink once while I was misting.

I never see my Ambilobe drink... ever.. But my nosy drinks all the time. The same goes for Larry ( the Ambilobe) he loves being misted. Vito, my nosy, hates it but is slowly getting better about it. Have you tried silks or horns?

Yes he loves Horns but they got to big for him pretty quickly so i'm feeding them off to my Tokays. Their tank has Hornworm juices all over it, lol! I'm going to wait for him to get just a little older to get them again. I have not tried Silkworms yet... When i'm done with the Butters and Reptiworms i'm going to order some Blue Bottle Flies and might also go with some Silks. I need to check in with my feeder buddy.

I was in there this am and she still hasn't laid but she was cruising the bottom of her cage... Any day now and I am still trying to coax my Mrs into just one more Cham.... That is all I want for Xmas!!

I know right!! She loves babies and our chams, she just doesn't want me to get more until we buy a house!! But she is a sucker for the girls and babies!!
