Live Plants??

I want to use live plants in my panther cham's habitat, but I don't want to pay a lot of $$$ because the chameleon and cage alone are super expensive! I saw that ficus trees were good, but I'm having difficulties finding a small enough one that isn't over $30. Do you guys know of any that'd be $30 or LESS and are safe for him? I also want to put in a hibiscus... are those safe? Thanks!

Ok! And would you suggest just filling the bottom of the entire habitat with mulch or putting the plants in pots? I'm going to have a food dish, so eating a piece of mulch instead of a mealworm won't be an issue...

I keep mine in pots. Mealworms are not a very good feeder. They are hard to digest and have caused cham to get bound up and die. Crickets and roaches are best with hornworms, and superworms being fed once and a while.
