live plants and insects

Has anyone else had insects on there live plants and if so what did u do to get rid of them? little black insects.

That is why it is important to wash them down before putting them into the cage. I fill up a big bucket or garbage can with soapy water. Then I dunk the whole plant in it and shake it around like crazy. After that I rinse it down and wash out the roots in order to get rid of any eggs. Then change the potting soil.
