Live Plant

So, I am new to this site, and I'm going on my second veiled chameleon... This time I'm really hoping to put a live plant in her enclosure... I just wanted some opinions on putting a Split-Leaf Philodendron in.... I only picked this plant, because I actually just have one laying around the house. My last girl died at a very young age, despite lots of help from a vet (I work at one of the largest vet chains in Nova Scotia, Canada), so I'm just looking to do everything I can to keep this one happy and healthy!

Any help is welcome, whether it's about plants or not!
