I thought I took more pictures of Littlefoot in July. 🤦‍♀️

I was at a restaurant today that had lovely little nasturtium flowers for decoration. I googled and checked the forum posts to check if it's cham safe, and it is!

Staff confirmed that was the flower they used. I asked for an extra one on the side (for Littlefoot) and they kindly obliged.

I offered a petal and she wouldn't eat it out of my hand, although did flick her tongue at it... Also fair, it's a bright color and I had the camera out. I put it on a branch next to her and closed the cage. As soon as I turned around she ate it..

I sort of dismissed offering greens. I'm not totally sure why, she eats her plants LOL!

Perhaps I'll try throwing in some collard greens, and such, every so often... It might save the plants 🤣...

(A tip that should ALWAYS be followed: ALWAYS make sure the plants are Cham safe before putting them in your cage, or offering!)

Update:

Littlefoot is puffed up, because I had just taken her out of the cage. But she's also starting her big girl diet of 6 feeders a day.

I just need to clarify - is that 6 ‘regular’ sized feeders, or 6 smaller ones? Or do you mean you’re starting to wean her food quantity down? Sorry, but I’m overly protective/concerned about all of the beautiful little ladies, veiled especially. 😁🥰 Btw, Littlefoot and Mr Jack are beauties. 😍
I love your plant corner too. It’s just perfect! So much sunlight!☀️
6 regular size daily (or 10 smaller ones) along with a treat every other day. She's about 7 months old now. She weighed 115 grams two weeks ago.

I feel silly for this comment, I wasn't accounting for the weight of the box. Nevertheless, I knew I had to start her big girl diet.

August 2: Littlefoot was starting to show different colors; so, I studied how to use the scale properly, and weighed her.

Aug 12: As much as I try to follow rules I think nature's took it's course... she's roaming the cage. Even screen climbing. 😔

Her lay bin has been ready in her big girl cage since April.

Her lay bin is the blue container in the back. It's a mix of organic soil and washed play sand. There's a thin layer of sand only on top so I can tell if she digs. I put a test hole in every other day to make sure it will hold a hole structure then cover it back up.
