Little Pygs!

Oh Joel, they are special little pygs for sure, forgive my ignorance but what species? They look like fascinating little animals. How many?
As we have said before they are packed with personality despite their tiny size.
Thanks for sharing, i must have a thing for pygs, I had pet pigs years ago, two of the most amazing creatures I have ever met.
My pyglets are getting quite a size now, every day I marvel that one side of my reptile shed I have a parsons and the other is a pyg that would fit under the foot of a parsons. Wonderful life.

Hey Tabitha! They are Rhampoleon spectrum. I got a trio.
I know how you feel. I find it hilarious to have melleri and parsonii stomping about and then look over to see these little creatures. They are amazing though. I had a trio of brevicaudatus years and years ago but haven't had any pygs since. So I am happy to try my hands with this species!

Lol I said pet pigs, meant of the porcine kind! But these little fellows are easier to house and keep for sure
Lol, now I see. I actually grew up on my Grandparent's farm and I was absolutely in love with the pigs. We had a pig named Emily that was a pet. We always felt we saved her because she was destined for other uses if you catch my drift. She was massive! I remember riding her as a child and her following us everywhere on the farm like a dog. I loved that pig!! I have worked very hard at NOT allowing myself to get a micro pig. I have been so close so many times. The are so hard to resist!!
But, yes...these are a much easier task. Ha!!

What a wonderful story, I can picture that brilliant scene in my mind, what a wonderful childhood memory.
I lost my two tamworths 30 years agoand there's still a huge chasm in my heart where they used to be, two of the most wonderful beings I have ever known, I had a pot bellied pig after that, he was very ugly but very sweet,rescued from an awful life, I would definitely have a house pig micro or macro for sure but i better stick with chameleons. Nothing is such a lovely sight as a happy pig.
