Little Pygmy getting chewed on by crickets.

I have a pyggy that has a spot on the top of her head that I saw was bleeding. There were a couple of crickets in the terrarium that I guess were too large for the 1:2 brevs to eat and of course they only get larger. I tried to capture the crickets but the terrarium is pretty heavily planted and there are a lot of sticks and leaves in the bottom, so I cleaned her up and put her back in. The next day I found the sore in the same condition. I again cleaned her up and put her in a different terrarium. For some reason I have a few crickets in each of my terrariums that the pygs haven't eaten and the crickets have gotten too large for them to eat.

Lesson learned....Only 1/4's and don't push the size, EVER! and Only give them a couple a day.

Anyway, I removed the Pygs and put in a couple of 3 month old veileds who immediately polished off the crickets. Problem with the crickets solved, however my question is:

What would you suggest I do to treat my little brev with the sore head? Should I use some antibiotic cream? Just clean it and leave it? Vaseline to "seal it."

Ideas please. She can't reach the spot.

I have only treated beardies with neosporin, but imagine chams can be treated with it. I would seperate her, so their is no risk of the others having the opportunity to have unnecessary contact with it. Just lightly apply it, it shouldn't take much for it to heal completely.

I agree, I even used neosporin before my silvadene cream came in and it helped. I think the ointment is better than the cream, it stays on better and helps keep the wound a little moist

Lesson learned "only 1/4's" ....? you feed them 1/4" crickets?! I'm not surprised they are getting chomped on :x

I feed BABY dubias and 1/8"s max personally, don't feel comfy going any bigger

Thanks guys, I'll try it tomorrow morning.

I've read that Polysporin is a bit more compatible with herp skin and that's what I'd use. Don't think you really need anything on top of it and it's one less type of residue to deal with later.
