I found my baby pyg shedding this morning- he's still tiny- 30 mm? note size of ficus leaf for comparison . It was a treat to witness him shedding and managed to get a snap through the leaves.
Here he is complete with fruit fly hat accessory.
Awww, so cute! I was given a pygmy by a friend a couple of years back. Unfortunately, she was female, it was the middle of the summer and she was very gravid. I only had her a week when she laid then she died a week later. I didn't have much luck with her. Kind of puts me off keeping pygs! They are such time wasters - I spent hours looking for mine and she was only in a 30x30x45cm exo, lol!
Yes, sadly short lived which is why I'm trying to get a cb culture of them going- that they will breed and decline and hatch and so on and not rely on wc.
I adore mine and happily spent hours gazing at them. They certainly are little power packs of personality.
