Litter Box???

I posted a few days ago about my cham going to the bottom of her cage and that I was worried. Well after some crafty spying techniques (also known as hiding in the closet) I was able to see what she was really up to.

My cham is pretty much using the pots in her cage as a litter box. She goes to the pot digs a small hole, goes to the bathroom and then covers it back up.

I did not think they did this.

Should I be digging up the poo to dispose of it or leave it to fertilize the plant?

I will try and snap some pics tomorrow.

That is funny! I have never heard of that...mine always poop from a branch by hanging butt over and then dragging same butt along the branch for a wipe. Some tend to poop always in the same spot but never dig to hide their deed.

I am positive. The hole she digs is maybe an inch or two deep and then she poops and covers it right back up. Too funny!

That is amazing! I was under the impression that insectivore droppings aren't any good as fertilizer though.
