Does anyone know if it is safe to use liquid calcium on chameleons that have no calcium problems, if so how often? THanks

Would it be any different than dusting crickets with calcium? I spray our geckos with liquid calcium every day, about 9 drops to a 1/2 cup of water in a pump sprayer. They've been alive for a couple of years now. We even have a baby one now and its doing fine also. I was afraid that they would not eat the crickets before the dust wore off so I started doing the spray and no problems. We are just getting ready to get a cham so I'd really like to know also. Anyone?

Most of us use the liquid form of calcium only when indicated by the health of the animals. If the gutload is good and you dust very lightly is should not be necessary. How much were you thinking of using, and how are you going to give it to your cham? A drop now and then would not hurt if you have any questions about what your cham in getting. But tell me more about what your thinking is and I can give a better answer.
