what's up everyone!!! I'm starting to do some lights shopping for Freddie's new screen cage that should b here soon I hope. I've been looking at the zoo med large deep combo? Good choice? Is there better? And what bulbs will serve him best? Murcery, reg spot light With a uv bulb? Pet shops been trying to sell me everything they have n just thought I'd ask here before I pull the trigger. Thanks

I would just use a regular heat bulb and a 5.0 UVB bulb, UVB tubes are better, but bulbs will work. The wattage of the bulbs depends on how tall your cage is, mines 36" and i use a 50W light and a 5.0 UVB bulb. And yes, the Zoo Med Large Deep Combo is a great fixture, i use it myself.

If you go with tube UVB, I'd go with Arcadia T5 high Output. Site sponsor Todd (@Venutus1 ) at Light Your Reptiles has them and I'm pretty sure he ships up to Canada. I think it takes a couple extra days to there, but they are awesome bulbs. He also has great fixtures of varied sizes. You can get ones that will provide UV as well as plant lighting.
