lighting

repti sun 5.0 or 10.0 depending on the enclosure and the distance it will be from your cham.. and as many basking lights that it takes to make the ambient temp.. 75 to 80, basking area around 95.. and it also depends on the age of the chameleon..
 
the 5.0 and 10.0 are uvb lighting.. you must have uvb lighting.. they need it to get vitamin d3.. and calcium with d3 and calcium without d3 supplements,vitamin supplements, and you need an all screen enclosure.. but that depends on the age of the chameleon.. these guys in this forum know thee stuff.. search around old post and you will find this answer.. they will also need more info to answer those questions..
 
Please note that the recommendations in the link I posted above are for a male veiled chameleon.

Female lighting is going to be different .... more on that soon.
