Lighting question

Ok..so.
My current lighting situation is this...
I use a repti-glo 5.0 for uvb and a 60w house bulb for heat.
Chamilli loves it, but the plants don't "thrive" like I would like them to.
I was thinking about using a plant bulb...what wattage should I use for an umbrella tree and pothos?
Should I keep using the 60w bulb (for heat) if I start using a plant bulb?
Will the plant bulb affect the cham any?
Also...what about using Miracle-gro sticks?

i used the exact same setup and had the same problem,i tried afew things and i found the best was to add another florescent strip light so i now have a 60w heat lamp, a repti glow 5.0, and another 18 florescent strip light this setup works great, i use it on all my cham setups

you should aslo try to find 60w plant grow lights and use thm for heat they give the same heat but are better for plants, i would still add another strip light tho. And from what i know plant grow sticks have fertiliser and are toxic for chams wouldnt risk it

also consider trying 6500k fluorescent bulbs instead of bulbs specifically for plants - some people prefer these. All the "plant" bulbs i have had are an obnoxious magenta/purple color where as the 6500k (often called day light bulbs) are more of a white/tiny bit of blue you can get these in CFLs or the tube style (in some sizes, for instance.. i cant find a 24 inch one locally in t8)

you might have to try more than one set up so dont get discouraged.
