Lighting Issue

so i have the XL reptibreeze and plan on starting with a juvi veiled. i just ordered the reptibreeze t5 fixture & uvb bulb. for heat, all i have is a 75watt incandescent fluker's bulb. I have been trying to get ahold of some 75watt halogen flood bulbs from walmart but both stores here are out. will the fluker's bulb be ok for the time being for heat and what else would you suggest if i can't find my halogen bulbs?

i am kind of low on cash and have a regular ceramic dome. i wasn't sure if any other off-brand light would work for heat. it's just a big cage with 3 live plants and want to make sure it;s hot but not too hot and i don't want to go too cheap on the bulb bc loss of quality. also the cage is against the wall and the dome i have didn't come with the clamp pieces so if someone could tell me an easy way to mount the dome above the cage would be so helpful. want to prevent any possible burns. thanks guys!

You absolutely must have a proper UVB generating flo. bulb or else I am afraid you will end up with very serious health issues... pretty fast.

OH...
and just set the dome on the cage . *plop* right on the screen.

The screen is aluminum on a repti-breeze and it will not melt.

Take temperatures because you will need a basking spot of 85 - 88 under the light. Otherwise they will have problems digesting their food if they cant maintain good body temp. Heat light on 12-14 hours day.
Then turn it off at night.

Hope this helps.
Cheers!

oh yes i will have the nice uvb in 2 days that is the width of the cage so im covered there. just was wondering about heat bulbs. my dome is too short to fit the reptibreeze heat bubs

ok good.:)

*phew* I get worried sometimes.
just because I care and hate to see things go "south" for people and their pets.:D
