Lighting for plants

Are you just wanting to use it for plants? If so yes... You still want to double check temps below it. She should not be any warmer then 80.

Yes, just for plants. I will keep an eye on temps. I remember seeing something about colored lights and want to be sure it won't hurt her sight at all since it does emit a pinkish tone. Thank you!

As mentioned it will produce some heat so do keep track. On the plants side it isn’t going to be enough to make a difference. As a rough standard 15 to 20 watts minimum for led. Any thing less can’t penetrate far enough for our chameleon cage. That bulb is 7watts. Won’t hurt but not going to help below about 10 inches and only right under it.
There are good led bulbs that fit a standard screw in. GE make some you can find at Lowe’s or Home Depot. They are higher wattage. So up to 35w I think. I have a 20 or 25w , not at home now, but it has been going for 2 years in my beardie enclosure growing high light outdoor plants at 24inches. They run about $40 but worth it. They do produce enough heat that you will want it off the screen.

That's perfectly fine. Many folks do that.I'm in Florida and have had to have all heat emitting lamps (aside from her UVB) off as the temperature without is close to 80°.
If it turns into a long-term situation, you may want to do something about your plants though. LED plant lights give off comparatively little heat, which mostly goes upward. A nearby window, and rotating are other possibilities, depending on plant species.
