As mentioned it will produce some heat so do keep track. On the plants side it isn’t going to be enough to make a difference. As a rough standard 15 to 20 watts minimum for led. Any thing less can’t penetrate far enough for our chameleon cage. That bulb is 7watts. Won’t hurt but not going to help below about 10 inches and only right under it.
There are good led bulbs that fit a standard screw in. GE make some you can find at Lowe’s or Home Depot. They are higher wattage. So up to 35w I think. I have a 20 or 25w , not at home now, but it has been going for 2 years in my beardie enclosure growing high light outdoor plants at 24inches. They run about $40 but worth it. They do produce enough heat that you will want it off the screen.
