Lighting Bulb Blue light vs. Daytime bulb

So question is as I am still new to having a Chameleon in all the choices of bulbs out there vs. what came in my kit.

If I have a Reptisun 5.0 bulb for my UVB

Do I also need the Blue Daylight bulb or can I go with a Daytime Heat Bulb??

You need the uvb bulb.

But you can just use a regular household bulb (not the coil kind) for basking.

its a waste of money.

one uvb bulb, one basking bulb.

agree. One heat bulb, one UVB tube. The sun is not blue, so you don't need a blue light.
some people will add a bulb for the plants, but usually that's not required.
