Lighter Skin/skin problem?

In the last week, I've noticed my girl has a lighter spot on her belly, just on one side. It's been 3 weeks since her last shed, so I'm wondering if she isn't getting ready to do it again. Last time she shed, she had a smaller dry patch for about a week and a half before the shed. This is bigger though, and it just seems weird. She is eating great, drinking great, humidity is anywhere from 60-80% in between and after mistings, and her basking spot is about 90 degrees. She has tons of plants and the uvb bulb as well. I will take her to the vet if needed, but since everything else is going ok, I wanted to see what you guys thought first.

Welcome to the forums! What a pretty girl you have. What's her name? That looks like she getting ready to shed. When they are young and growing they shed often. IMO 90 is way to hot for her basking spot. I keep females basking spots around 84. Do you have a laying bin all set up for her? Females lay without a male even being around and if they are not provided with a proper laying bin they can become egg bound and die.

Thank you Jannb! Her name is Pickles. I will raise her light to lower the temp and I do have a laying bin set up for her. I figured it was her getting ready to shed again soon, but I wasn't sure since she's had it for a few days now. Thank you for the reply!

Love the name...when I 1st got my girl she would shed every 3 weeks. I usually up my misting a little when she sheds to help. Welcome to you and Pickles.:)
