Life-Glo(6700k)

Does anyone know if this would be good for growing plants in a 48" tall cage?

yes ive used them in hydroponic set ups..they are great for vegative growth, and have seen others to use them for blooming flowers..

how many watts per sq. foot are you going to be using?

15W with 95 LUX, its going to 18".

ok..well what kind of plants are you propagating?

knowing how many lumens per square foot is important for proper synthesis in chloroplasts..

is this an organic, hydroponic, or hydro-organic set up?

or are they just plants inside of an enclosure for chams??

On the site im looking at it says the Life-Glo has 960 Lumens.

basically sun loving plants like the hibiscus will get around 10'000 lumens in the day sun..you will need at least 5000 lumens to get it to grow..my large ficus (since its shade loving only needs 3600 lumens)

its possible that with maybe 2 of those bulbs and near a window will give it enought to grow..all you will need to do is supplement it with a lil d3, b-3, and dont over water them..since they will be operating slower, they drink waaay slower as well..

i think you may be able to have some luck with it!!

hope the best!:D
