Let me see them toes girl!

Had a few different threads this week on nails, how to wear them down via proper viv set up, and if trimming them is acceptable. Reminded me a while back a friend and I were discussing how much they can differ from species to species, specifically between veilds(female in my case) and Nosy Be(male). The difference is staggering. I’m sure this is just another product of evolutionary divergence so I’d be curious to see other members toe shots to see how consistent these differences are as well as see where other species land on the spectrum!

Roux- 1yo Male Nosy Be. He wasn’t happy about waking up to a face full of phone at 5am, giving me his classic stink eye. He’s got stubby little claws and feet, like in the new Godzilla movie he’s trying his best to emulate!

Clarice definitely takes pride in her nails - those things are incredibly long and sharp. She’s a very active climber, but doesn’t climb the screen (and slip) like her brothers do. I’ve also noticed the veiled’s have pointier, thinner nails... the panthers have thicker, stubbier nails.

My girl Googley here has some super sharp claws and shes about 1 week post "pairing":

My boy Demetri has always had some needles, but never like my girls:

And Dexter is always out and about. If hes not free ranging the porch/back yard, hes usually roaming around the living room... not much in the way of claws but definitely the strongest tail/back legs:

Delilah had/has MBD but is getting around much better of late:

And lastly is "Itty Bitty" - who isn't at all itty or bitty any more. Shes about 4.5 months now:

I just realized I don't have pictures of my WC girl. She's currently digging through her laybin, otherwise I'd get a shot of hers, they're quite good.
