Well took the new cham in and had him checked out. Was lucky enough that he pooped today(and Romeo did also) cause he really has not eaten since I got him. Maybe one cricket that I think he ate. Anyways, got fecal floats done on him and Romeo too and both were clean! Was glad about that!! So what we suspect was gular edema, is, but the vet took some fluid out and did a cytology stain on it. It had some kind of bacteria in it so he gave him an antibiotic shot in the edema area. No skin fungus either which is great! So overall just the edema. He said the edema took a long time to get that way and is not gonna go away over night which we all knew. So overall good check up! Now to get this guy to start eating good. He drinks well, but it takes me awhile to get him to do so! Just thought I would give you all an update. No pics for now,(sorry) the poor guy has been stressed out enough this week and my camera is dead!!

Very interesting! Glad everything checked out so well! I looked at my panther's fluid and it did not have any bacteria or cells of any kind. Was the fluid from yours a transparent yellow or did it look different?

Aww yay! at least it wasnt a supplement issue considering he pretty much hasnt gotten any. I wonder how he got a bacterial infection there.... very intersting.

Carol I just aged 10 years. I saw Lenny vet visit and for some dumb reason thought it was my Lenny. Like I have the only one in the world right? But I am happy to hear yours are doing well. And we will wait for pictures until you get them.:)

well the guy I got him from said his name was Leonard. So I decided I liked Lenny better. I guess I could have changed the name altogether as we all know they don't respond to their names!

it was clear looking from what I could tell. He put it on a slide right in front of me and it looked like a drop of water.
