Lemonade cleanse diet

So I need to stop throwing those away?

It's quite amazing the results obtained using hemp for anything really. Forgive me, it's a friend of mine that has the detailed info. An example a Royalty family only uses hemp for their horses - bedding & feed.
Many skeptics around because of what hemp is or where comes from, but it is missing certain components!

I wouldn't throw them out ;)

Its 1 cup lemon juice, 1 cup of type b maple syrup, 1/2 gallon of water and 1 teaspoon of cyane(sp) pepper. you are suppose to drink this mixture for 10 days and it cleanses your body and colon.....

Im still going to continue to eat regular food too!! So it cant be too horrible:p

Your not suppose to eat anything BUT i just cant do that!

change that maple syrup to Honey and you got yourself a potent home remedy for cold, sore throat, and influenza.
Only worked if you drink it immediately after you felt the symptoms.
It's cayenne pepper BTW.

Cleanse body and your colon? unlikely... but, it'll give you a nice boost of vitamin C. :)

I've done it twice and it's awesome.

I only last 5-6 days though lol.

DON'T EAT ANY FOOD, you'll have the WORST stomach ache ever.
Make sure you follow the instructions to sloooowly get back to solid food.

Use a high quality maple syrup if you can afford it. I forget the grading system, but your local health food store will know. It has more nutrients and tastes better, which is good for a cleanse.

It's amazing how you don't feel hungry hey? I did it for the cleansing part of it, not the weight loss, so if you're the same as me then don't do it for tooooo long if you don't need to.

And oh boy, you're in for a treat with the salt water cleanse.
That's definitely the best part haha.

After a few days, if you have the urge to uhh, fart....
don't.

PS: best thing for colds and flu is a couple cups of hot ginger tea,
a big slab of ginger, sliced thinly, left to steep for about 10 mins.

I haven't been sick in about 4 years cause I drink that most days.
And when I do feel any symptoms starting, 2-3 big cups and it's completely knocked out.

I couldn't agree more. The stigma behind it really impedes any research into it's value. It was even poised to take over the lumber trade prior to being outlawed. A very small percentage of wood cut down actually goes into the production of lumber. Most of it is used for paper and other misc products. All of them can be replaced by hemp. And it provides a superior product.

But this is a subject for a different thread. Now back to Codi's Colon.......

Codi, If you search through back issues of Maxim, about 5 yrs ago they did an article on colon cleansing. They sent one of their staff to some third world retreat where he stayed for one week.

During his time there they did 2 or 3 enemas a day with some sort of local Herb extract and ate nothing but vitamins and water. On the 2nd day the guy and other members of the group at the resort, reported discharging long strips of "tar" during the enemas. Evidently waste does accumulate on the lining of your colon. Unless you are a total health freak and have been since birth..It is there.

Added bonus, the guy lost like 20 pounds in that one week.

Look for the article. It is a very interesting read.

hmmmmmm.....I will have to try and find it

Oh people...what are you thinking? Dare I say this but it sounds like the Scientologists would do well recruiting here.

Although I do believe stuff does build up in your colon and intestines, I don't think it's as extreme as many people think.

Here's why:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFwLl5Rp37E

Tried it out myself and it's the same with anything high-fiber (I used psyllium husk)

That said, I think cleanses are a good thing, but not for more than a week. If you are doing it yearly, two-three days maybe twice a year is more than enough.

Having a high-fiber diet is important, and most people have a severely low intake of fiber. One milkshake with a tablespoon or two of psyllium husk or ground flax seed is sufficient.

I'd go so far to say that having a good fiber intake daily would make it unnecessary for cleanses, as you are constantly 'scraping away' the crud in your intestines on a daily basis.

Also, drinking the lemon/maple/cayenne drink on a daily basis is a great idea as well.

It's unfortunate that people tend to go on a health binge, and then the majority of the year are unhealthy. lol.

haha yea I experinced the salt water this morning. I went to central market which is like health food here in texas. I got grade b maple syrup which is what the book I got said to use....Is that what you used???

It was expensive $12 bucks for a bottle that has maybe 6 cups in it

Brock, That's amazing. The only problem with what you are seeing in that video compared to what was explained in the article I read was, that they used a tea, instead of a man made chemical compound. That and the location of the resort...Lab equipment and well modern science didn't seem to be abundant. So I would imagine it next to impossible for them to come up with such a compound that does what that video shows.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Seeing is believing. I'm just saying that the instance I'm talking about was/is probably the real deal.

And Im hoping it might help clear my skin up on my face........

Codiwatkins, if you are interested - my daughter used "Proactiv" when she was a teenager and it worked miracles for her complexion. She's grown out of that stage now (she's 26) but I do remember buying all kinds of products that did not help at all. The proactiv really did the trick.

HAHA.....I hate proactiv with a passion. I never actually had real skin issues until I decide to use proavtive to keep my skin clear and BAM my whole face broke out. I used it for 3 months straight religously becasue it suppose to break you out first then clear you up. Well it never cleared my skin up:eek: Its been 6 months since I quit using it and it is still broke out. I have tried everything you can think of to clear it up. The only thing that is kinda working now is that weird nuetrgena vibrating wand thing.....thanks for the advice anyways!!:p

Oh and I lost 4 pounds yesterday..... I think the lemonade is really doing its cleasing job. I havnt decided this morning if I want to keep going. I didnt eat anything all day yesterday and it wsnt too bad.....

Just got back on this thread. Really surprised about the proactive reaction. Maybe they changed something in it (daughter used it about 13 years ago). Congratulations on losing 4 pounds. Don't get to skinny though. :)

Not to digress, but it's the lizard lounge anyways.
As tempting as it may be, never use acutane, which has to be prescribed by a doctor.

Worked wonders for my acne as a teenager, face as clear as crystal.
But, thanks to the wonderful lack of warnings, I now live with a permanent stomach condition.

Be thankful someone warned you though! Give the proactiv a go, Toni gives solid advice.
