Im no vet, but I doubt humidity would be causing the issue. Most here will say ditch the waterfall which I think you should too. Im guessing its something nutritional and with the correct husbandry and diet it should correct itself.
Your lighting needs to be 5.0 UVB I would go with tubes style its less intense to look at unless you already have the compact 5.0
Your basking light should be typical lightbulb not energy efficient kind. Depending on temps use a 40 watt or 60 watt for baby chameleon.
You also need to have it on a timer 12 hr cycles will work fine.
