my 5 month old veiled cham for the past month has been really active but for the past couple days hes been laying down a lot not sleeping and only gets active once his food is put in or hes thirsty i know hes healthy though is this because hes about ready to shed?
 
My stats

2x2x4 DIY all screen cage
repta-sun 5.0 bulb (soon changing to repti-sun 5.0) lights on at 7am off at 7pm day temp 72-80 basking spot 85-95 measured by digital themometer
humidity unsure mist 4 times a day
no live plants yet fake pothos only
cage is 5 feet off the floor in a very quiet room
located in southern Maine

Veiled chameleon, Male, 5 Months old, been in my care for little over a month
i handle him 1 time a week
Feeding Crickets 10 a day in the morning gutloading with collard greens carrots and sometimes apple slices
I use rep-cal calcium w/vit d3 3 times a week and rep-cal herptivite once a week
i use a dripper and mist 4-5 times a day and i see my cham drinking a lot
fecal matter is normal and brown or black with white urate never been tested for parasites
I got him from FLchams
Hes been kinda lazy lately
 
85 should be the highest temp for his basking area

You need the repti-sun 5.0 as you know

You need live plants

You need plain calcium to dust feeders at just about every feeding

Only use the D3 twice a month

Only use the herptivite once a month

Offer different kinds of feeders. Try some silkworms, hornworms, superworms and dubia
