my brothers veiled chameleon is laying eggs while still in her tree. the eggs are an orange color, what should we do?

Does she have a suitable place in the cage to dig to lay eggs?
Was she mated?
Can you post a picture of her and the eggs please?

Has she recently laid a clutch? Some of my veil females will pass (poop) a unfertile ( orange colored ) egg or two, a few days after digging and laying clutch in soil. You might want to check base of tree to see if a hole was dug.
Or you might find a bunch of these guys in picture below running around in the fall if conditions are right.

Yeah orange-colored eggs are usually infertile eggs, but she should still dig and bury them. Maybe she was eggbound and they finally came out unexpectedly? I'm not sure WHY that would happen, but it wouldn't be the first time.

Why did he pull it out? That probably hurt! How would you like it if someone did that to you!

Why on earth would you PULL on it? It could be her insides!! You need to get her to an emergency vet NOW!

Well Now her inners went back in. She's eager to eat and drink. Don't know why it happened. But we hope she's ok.
