Laying bins and small enclosures

My female Veiled still a baby (3 months old) so she is in a smaller enclosure 16x16x30. I am trying to figure out what will be the best option for a laying bin with an enclosure this size. I know she won't be laying eggs for a couple of months, but I want to plan ahead. Inside her enclosure there's a schefflera in a pretty large pot (8-10in I think?) It takes up the majority of space on the floor, so I can't imagine how a 3-5 gallon laying bin would fit in there. Can I use a smaller size bin? Or should I remove the large schefflera and put something smaller so that I can fit a larger laying bin? What's the best option

I'd put a small one in her enclosure in the next month or two. If it's not large enought for her to lay in once you see her start to dig around in it you can move her to a larger one. I'm attaching my egg laying/laying bin blog for you below.

Thank you Jann :) I saved your laying bin blog in my bookmarks. At what age do you think I should get her into a bigger enclosure? And how big? 18x18x36... 24x24x48? In the future I would like to set up a free range in their room, and let them take turns on it. But for now I've got them in separate enclosures till I can properly set up the free range.

I would recommend a 48 high at around 6 months old. If your female can see your male it could make her to start developing a clutch....in a couple of months. I always keep the males out of sight to the females.

We've got them side by side but put a trash bag in between their enclosures so that they can't see each other. When we first got them at 4 weeks old, we had them together for a brief time.. but the girl started to antagonize the boy almost immediately! She'd chase him around and try to grab at his tail  She's a feisty little thing! The boy is very shy and sweet, just wants to be left alone
