I put a laying bin in my veiled chameleons cage for a few weeks now and she hasn't laid any eggs.. I feel like the bin is a hazard being in the cage. Ive seen her ending up getting the cricket + peat moss in her mouth.. and I can't put my hand in there and grab it.. about 2 days ago she had a thick piece in her mouth, it was half the size of her head.. I watched as she tried to chew on it and I was hoping she would spit it out but she ended up eating it.. I have no idea how hard it was.. there are actual sticks and stuff in the peat moss..
So I took it out just now.. but now I'm worried about her not having a place to lay any eggs.. what should I do?
I'm not sure if she rejected the peat moss or maybe she didn't have enough privacy .. or if she even has any eggs to lay.
