Laying Bin
So I decided to "upgrade" my veild's laying bin and just wanted to make sure it meets the standards of you experienced owners out there.
This bin is 16x22 and 11in tall?? It is filled with 50/50 sand and coconut dirt about 8-9in. Her previous bin just seemed too small for how big she looked, i figured she'd want more room to dig.
She hasn't shown any symptoms of needing/wanting to lay yet. Although she looks gravid. We did introduce our male last week and witnessed them mate twice, 1st lasted longer than the 2nd. If copulation was successful then it would be safe to assume she'd be ready to lay in 3-5 weeks. (since it has been a week since they mated)
As far as privacy goes, her setup is in half of our large closet and we could just close the doors to give her privacy.
