Hi everyone...sadly I have report that my guy, "Colors" passed away on Feb. 13th. He had the prolapse. The vet had been able to reinsert everything and had placed 2 stiches but some of the prolapsed content had already started to become necrotic. I sure will miss him. If anyone knows a reputable breeder please let me know as I would like to give another chameleon a loving home. Thanks for all the support you all gave to us...it was greatly appreciated. Nani

I got Colors about 1-1/2 years ago. He was about 3 months old...

Sorry to hear that you lost your chameleon.
Prolapses are not easy things to deal with. Some can be put back in and everything works out well, but as often as not things don't go well.

I hope you will have the next one for a much longer time!
