I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here for all the help they have given me in the past few months, but I have desided to sell Cami the Chameleon. I have found a breeder out here that is going to take her and give her a happy home! I am finding I don't have as much time anymore to give her the proper attention and it's really sad to see her go but I think it's for the best!

So sorry to hear that maybe you will be able to get another one soon!

maybe one day again, but for now I know shes going to a great home. The worst part is my son he is soooo sad to see her go! aswell as he's friends that come over to see her all the time

I know that was a hard decision, but obviously you cared for the chameleon enough to let it live with someone who could give it what it needed. That's a huge gift.

Maybe you can find a less "detail intense" pet that will be equally fascinating? My daughter's male friends (this in elementary and middle school) were always enthralled by her frog.

sorry you had to make this decision, I know how hard it is to give up a cham. I rescued one and got him back to health and releasing him to a new home was hard even though I knew I wasn't keeping him.

Hugs to you. It is so hard to do the right thing, I know. You are teaching a valuable lesson to your son. Sometimes we have to love something enough to let it go. I have had to do this as well in the past and I have been the one to receive someone else's pets, thus being on the other side.

Hugs to your son as well.
