Larger Plant Species List

I think I have seen Coffee plants Coffea arabica as plants that are safe to use on Non Toxic Plant lists for chameleons. Ficus and Pothos plants are semi toxic and keepers use them regularly as plants to be kept with chameleons. However if you are worried about toxicity I would not place what is know as a somewhat toxic plant with a known plant eating species of chameleon. I would not keep a Veilded Chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus) with a Coffee plant. However with regards to other species of chameleons (non plant consuming) I have kept Coffea arabica in my male Orange Eye Calumma parsonii parsonii enclosures for (5+) years without any problems.
