Can I let Mr. Ester my Chameleon have lady bugs? I saw some at the feeds store i bought crickets from.....Just Wondering!!

It is my understanding that lady beetles are toxic and NOT a good feeder insect.

Great for getting rid of aphids though!

Although they are not toxic to humans they bare the warning colors that say they wouldn't make a good meal. All ladybugs give off the exact same "toxic chemical"....a foul-smelling yellow oil which has been reported to be a problem to fence lizards...bet the chameleon wouldn't like the taste anyhow.
