Kiwi is gravid again.

so i have a big feeling my almost 2 year old veiled is gravid again. she has been up all night,
the last time with her first fertile clutch, she stayed real late. she is real dark with bright yellow blotches tonight, and has been quite active but basking a lot during the past few days.

if she is, im expecting her to lay in about 28-30 days. she has gotten a little bit bigger lately as well.

i'm honestly hoping not many are fertile though. i've already got eggs cooking, not really willing to buy another incubator =/ but in all, wish kiwi another successful gestation and egg lay

she moved spots and is light green now and asleep. hmm.. she is fat. but no visible egg bumps.. hmm.. hopefully a small clutch

thanks alot man, she is a pretty little girl. healthy but small. i've never over fed and grew her slow and healthy. she's always that lime green, every since she was a babe she was neon green lol. hence the name Kiwi... she's never been one to show off too many whites though.

You can see small egg shapes in the pic just before her back legs. She is huge! My female layed 60 when she was that big!

you're right, she did lay mid march on the 18th, after she laid, temperatures were droped down to low-min 80's and increased naturally as the summer came. its been a lot warmer than usual the last few week but feeding has not changed. laying bin goes today though as she has been more active and doesnt dart right for her food.

kiwi has never laid anymore than 42 eggs, her last batch of fertiles only accounted for 33. which is ironic cause it was exactly 33 days of gestation lol.

That's still a lot of eggs. Did you decrease her food supply a couple of days after she laid the last clutch?

of course. i fed her a pinky as always after a clutch lay and than leave her be for a day or two. than go back to normal feedings every other or two days.
