Hi everyone Im over the moon as one of my Tenuis has laid me 4 lovely eggs this afternoon!:):) The eggs look great, & mum seems happy munching away on hatchling locusts, my only concern is that she didnt bury them they were laid a couple of inches apart from each other under pieces of bark. Im in the UK & our weather is extremely hot at the moment the ambient temps in the viv are normally 22degrees approx but when I checked tonight they were 25.5degrees could this be why? Im so hoping theyre fertile ive had her for 9months now along with my other female, they share their home with my male who ive had 6months. Im not quite sure on incubation temps but was thinking 17degrees night & 20degrees day? Any help really appreciated.:)
Thanks so much Heatherxxx

Nice!!! Hopefully the are fertile and do well through incubation. I would incubate them between 65 and 70 degrees F. Good luck!!

Thanks very much James. Thanks as well Cain, are you having any more luck with yours? I know you said that you were expecting more eggs!

Well, I am having luck keeping them alive:rolleyes: My main concerns were the two males I got back in last August (I think). They were pretty beat up and very stressed. They are doing well. As for the breeding part. I have had no luck yet. The last two clutches turned out to be infertile, again:mad::( Some reason the males are not wanting to breed with the females. I should be expecting more in around 2 months. It seems they are like clock work, laying every 4 months. Hopefully being housed outside most of the time will trigger the males.

Keep me posted!!!

Thanks very much, yes I do house them together, Ive never encountered any problems, they are so cute of a nightime all 3 sleep together normally with the male having his head on one of the females.
Im so pleased yours are doing well for you Cain, sorry no fertile eggs yet but as you say having them outdoors may help! Heatherxxx
