Just an update.


Kermit got a nice long shower this morning.

he spent the entire time drinking and cleaning out the boo booed eye.

During the shower he used the eye more. He moved it around and was looking with it more than he was yesterday.

Not yet. I offered some mini super worms in his food dish. Hes a bit unhappy with me today, i gave him a huge shower and that he loved, bu then he went outside and i re did his entire cage today.


im sure he will settle down in the next few days. im just glad hes drinking and being normal.

he ate superworms like this size when offerd-

crikets were usually this size. i fed him one daily

i gave him the meatyist ones. that or he'd get a few small ones. the day he left he ate a criket the size of above(larger). he get it with his tounge but doesnt seem to pull the big ones in well. i onyl hand fed him and then when he got it i put it in his mouth. if i didnt he may smack himself with it. right now try useing a few little ones untill he settles in. instead of hand feeding like i've been doing pinch of the legs of some little ones so they wiggle and put them on nearby leaf. he still prefurs non hand fed food. he should eat them

Yea I put a few bugs in his cage today. some pheonix worms and some small crickets. so far no eating. but i did just redo his entire cage.. so hes not happy about that.

he got another showre this morning.

Hes keeping it open longer now. still shuts it an blinks for a second or two, but not as often.

no sign of eating. but i jsut bu some bugs in his cage and let him be.


hes in wiht piggy, and they are doing so well together.

they sleep next to each other at night. he used her as a pillow hehe.

his nose is scabbed over nicely.

I think a few hours outside time yesterday helped, and for now, he just gets a daily shower.

are you giveing small crikets? thats sweet chloe and kermit would sleep near eachother and he would follow her around but she didnt like him

yea i have some micro crickets that are in his food cup.

and some pheonix worms.

hes doin ok. I dont know if his eye will ever be the same, but he seems to be doing ok.

I kinda skipped to the end so if it has been metioned I appologize but i would try some teramycin, I have seen it do wonders for eyes. JMO

Im not sure if im just looking at it to hard, or if it really is.

i was worried when you said he was shutting it. the days before he left he didnt shut it all and i thought it might be getting worse. but it doesnt seem like thats happening . glad he's eating for you now. keep updateing me. i miss him. lol.
