They are awesome pets a little bit if a spaz as a baby but they calm down. You will need heat tape and a thermostat set to 95 degrees as for bedding use aspen sany chips. All and all a great snake to have I have had them for years.

1st shed

my ksb had his 1st shed,
looks like a lil hangin on his nose?
anything to do to help him remove it!

My friends ball python had a pretty rough time shedding so she gave it a bath and I really helped. Not entirely sure what she did bit I imagine other forums know what temp water and all that.

If you put him in a moist hide box full of wet moss or in a damp pillowcase he may be able to rub the skin off as he noses through the material.
