Kaliko & A Katydid

He's such a grumpy s.o.b. when he's shedding. He hisses while trying to get shed off, rubs on every branch and etc. So I figured a katydid would cheer him up! He got a dragon afterwards to. Photo credit: @trickedoutbiker

He deff doesn't like the camera. If we were ready for it I could of got a better shot but he just wasn't wanting to eat with a papparazzi next to him. He just really hates seeing a camera near his cage. Definitely Mr. Grumpy when he is shedding for sure. Looked like he really like the new eats though.

His face seems to say "I guess this will suffice" lol. All the katydids around me are about three inches long if not bigger. I picked one up and didn't realize they can make a crazy sound, scared the sh1t out of me.

I never knew a katydid made sound either. Never really looked into it I guess. Found out real quick the other day on my 2 hour drive home from my mom's house with insects in my car. Couldn't figure out if somethin was clickin / chirpin or if I was hearing things. Sure enough it was a katydid. First one my lil dude has ever had. He loved it too!

He's hard to please! Lol This guy has some great blues and greens coming in. He should done shedding today. I'll post a picture of him.
