Haha, I thought the same when I hatched my first silk moth. That feeling lasted about 30 seconds and Jasmine had a tasty snack

I've got about 20 of these in cocoons at the moment- if they hatch they're getting fed straight to Neelix, cuteness or not lol but I don't think I could feed one to my hedgehog- it'd be a massacre & he would most likely use it to decorate his spines rather than eat it

Mine lasted a couple of weeks. They mated and lasted about a week after laying eggs. Approx 700 eggs in fridge.LOL
