Thank you for everyone thoughs and opinons u see now that this is a tuff deciton i got to make on my owed but i might just buy him and rehome him when the time is right but for now I'm from east New York and out here we dont have much local small brand store's but that petsmart that i do go to everyone in it including the store owner is a reptile lover so i personaly know how good of attention they get and I'm even trying to find a job in the store but Yes you guys are right i DO NOT SUPPORT BIG store brand at all , i'm new at this whole thing but thats why i started breading my owed crickets and stuff for now on but thanks everyone soo much if i do get him im going to put up some pic's of the little one mayb you can can help my nurse him back to life.

If the owner is a reptile lover then they wouldn't let this happen and they would give it to you for free to try and nurse it back to health. If you purchase anything from petsmart/petco you are supporting them.

Alternately if you're bored and wealthy (enough to throw money away at pet sores for sick animals) buy the Chameleon get a full vet report and treat it then sue the store for the vet bill for the sick animal they sold you plus a little pain and suffering tossed in for fun.

You would probably lose but it could open their eyes to what they are doing wrong at least.

Barring that level of commitment the best is what Pssh says. She is smart listen to her.

i wouldnt i got a cham in the same boat as that one he died last night because of the poor treatment he had cause the pet store i didnt know what they were doing. but its up to you but you have to remember if u buy that chameleon you are funding them to buy more and do the same thing.

what type did u get? and what shape was it in when you got him? im soo sorry to hear that though wish you the best

While its not your job to fix every animal being treated poorly elsewhere, that poor baby doesnt deserve to be treated like crap in protest of bad petshops; my opinion!

In all fairness regarding feeders. I get mine from petsmart and here they are the best pricing fo crickets, and healthy. I tried a small petstore who actually knows what they are doing when it comes to their animals BUT their crickets were the black ones, and they were all on their death bed.

i agreed with you samething over here in new york and i gotta tell you there only needs to be one good reptile person working in the store to actualy cared for them i travel far from where i live to the petsmart just because i know the crickets are been gut load before i buy them verry good people in there.

throw around money like that!?!? im sorry but i dont think there's a price when it comes down to saving someone elses life, just cause they arent humans and they cant vote that doesnt mean their life is worthless. Its like this, why is it okay to kill a fly and then feel no remorse but feel so guilty when another human life is taken ... maybe thats something we should all think about.

I dont need too because i know my life and the things i done and seen, N trust me It's somethings i aint proud about but been raced in the East New York N been Been part of a big well known gang and been a hustler since i was 12y.o i seen and done it all so i do know what really matter's in life , i said that you for a reason. i live with that phrase everyday of my life and Yes i read everyone comment but In my Opinion everyone is ranting too much about the big company store and less about the actual question on what to do with the chameleons life, But thank anyways i respect everyone opinions! & once againg do not take it personaly I am NOT trying to argue or fight with no one, im not an online thug, just trying to save the little one's life and after seen a copple of jacksons today i fanaly made choice on what im going to do thank you so much for your time anyways
