Just got my mistking in the mail any tips?

Hey guys, So like the title says I just got a basic misting system today, pretty psyched. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Also can anyone recommend a good misting schedule?

just one tip, make sure you push the tubing into the connectors really tightly to prevent leaks

Glad you posted this I just got mine yesterday too. Seems a little overwhelming at first glance but ill download or youtube it for instruction. Any links/advice would be helpful for the both of us im sure. (im installing this weekend)

well i did it! all installed took about 2 hours with a trip to home depot and walmart. at first the fitting were leaking but i pushed them in harder and i think im good now. excited to see if it turns on tomorrow at the set times.

Question. i would like to heat the water and was thinking of using an aquarium heater but worried it might melt the plastic bucket or something, maybe i just get a small one? anyone else heating there water? my cham hates it if i spray her with room temp water but doesnt move if it HOT of the tap.

Also everyone says to use RO water. I use a zero water filter for my drinking water and it removes everything! is that ok to use??

You should be perfectly fine with Zero water.
