IMHO I think more coverage would be a great thing, you can get some flukers brand fake leaves and such from amazon

Get a couple of them and create sine hiding spots for your little friend

Yes, I would add a a large plant. Also, it appears you have a "Prayer Plant" (Striped leaves) I believe it is part of the night shade family, not only will it not tolerate lots of water, it is poisonous if ingested.

I checked it on the flchams website before I chose that plant, claims it is safe.
