Hi all,

well, I turned on the lights this morning and an hour later he was just sitting in the same spot that he slept in.

I put a few fruitflys in his cup, then started to mist.
at fist he just puffed up his body a little, but then got pissed that I sprayed his tail. lol

he's just not a morning person like me...I mean chameleon.

Mine didnt like misting at first either. Now he usually walks towards the mist.

I find that he seems more fond of hot water and bigger droplets. Don't worry, the drops will cool down by the time they hit him, and it'll be perfectly warm.

Hopefully he eats and drinks in front of you, mine didn't for a good 2 or 3 weeks until he got used to me.

Anyways, I love his reds!

haha Now you did it!.... You made him mad....hehe.:D So funny to see them get fired up when they are so litttle. My 3 mo and 6mo Ambilobes still have not fired up at me even when I take them out for cage cleanings. They eat from my hand and are so relaxed, where as my female veild would eat my hand. He looks great Harry, MOARRRRRRRRRRRRR pictures!!! hehe:D

That is sooo adorable. One of my pathers flattens his body and puffs up when I put my hands in his cage. I can't help but laugh!

oh he likes it when I mist normaly, I even have seen him drink 3 times already.
he is not scared of me or misting at all, even though he does sometimes puff up his body a little bit when I'm looking at him.

about 2 hours after the lights were on (about an hour after I misted), I had to change the drip catching cup...
he was still in that same spot, but seemed to be reaching for me.
so I stuck a stick just under his head, and he climbed right on it and up my hand.
I put him carefuly on my table to let him walk around a little, and he seems to be a NY Yankee fan.
(good thing too, because if he turned out to be a Met fan I would have to toss him out the window :p )

I also tryed feeding him a fruitfly on a toothpick...sadly, he still has not eaten yet.
I did find his first poop, but no urate (hope thats spelled right) yet.
oh, and yes, I use hot water for misting.
