Chameleon Enthusiast
Hi all,
My ~5 month old veiled chameleon has been restless and pacing lately. From reading threads here and info on Chameleon Academy, I figured he's reaching sexual maturity and needs a bigger enclosure. The new enclosure is in progress and should be done in a couple weeks. But this morning I saw that he's been digging in one corner of his enclosure. (I have a bioactive setup.) So I also want to rule out the possibility of him actually being a her - I've seen a lot of that on the forums. ? Pretty sure he's a male given his striping, casque size, spurs, and I think I even saw sperm plugs at one point. But now I'm questioning everything. ?
Let me know if you need me to do the full form. I had my husbandry reviewed previously and implemented all the changes suggested (remove moss, get a PC fan to help with stagnant air). It's tough to get good pictures of him since he's skittish around me, but I can try getting more if needed.
